supersedes
Links a publication unit to the prior one it supersedes: a tariff filing to the prior filing, or an authored pricing model to the prior model in the same thread. The superseded subject's effective span ends when the superseding one begins; it remains valid history. Supersession is a forward-in-time change of effective period — it is NOT a same-period correction (urpx:replaces) nor a cancellation/withdrawal (urpx:cancelledBy).

| Note | Supersession threads authored PricingModels within a ModelCollection, and TariffFilings within a filing chain — for example, each monthly statement filing supersedes the previous one. A superseded filing or model is not cancelled; it stays valid history. Version classes carry no lifecycle of their own: a version's place in the timeline derives from the filing chain. | ||
